Weber River Fishing Report

Current flows on the middle Weber River are holding around 164 CFS and conditions remain favorable. Anglers will find success by focusing on nymphing the deeper pools and runs. Productive patterns includes small midges (sizes 20-24, gray being the most effective) as well as sow bugs. For your midges try a foam back variety.

During the afternoons, you can still catch fish on hoppers and caddis, particularly on warmer and windy days. Overall the Weber continues to provide excellent late-season opportunities for both consistent nymphing and exciting dry-fly action. Look for streamer eats to start heating up!

Current flows on the lower Weber are sitting around 296 CFS. Conditions are not optimal for anglers. You can still find some feeding fish, you just need to work to find them. There is a lot of moss and grass that has come in. We are finding success nymphing deeper runs. The most productive patterns has been San Juan worms (sizes 12-18) and sow bugs. Chooser bigger over smaller on the sow bugs.
