Middle Provo River Fishing Update

The Middle Provo River near Park City and Heber City continues to fish well. The flows have dropped and are currently sitting around 141 CFS near River Road. Small midges and small Baetis patterns have been the most productive. Go small; sizes 24-26. Our best colors for midges have been purple, brown and gray. For Baetis patterns a small RS2 will be all you need. The fish are starting to get ready for the spawn. Make sure to be mindful as you wade through the river and try your best to avoid walking on any Redds.

Lower Provo River Fishing Update

The Lower Provo near Sundance is fishing ok still. You will want to pick your spots wisely due to the moss and grass. Morning have been fishing well. Fish have been caught using Baetis patterns, Sow bugs, and eggs. The fish are getting ready to spawn. Use caution while wadding to avoid stepping on any Redds.
